Tomáš Kaválek of Prague Center for Middle East Relations (PCMR) of CEVRO Institute commented on a new deal between the Kurdish administration, Damascus, and Russia in the context of the Turkish invasion for Hospodářské noviny. The new deal between the Kurdish administration in Syria, the Assad regime, and Russia was a matter of survival for the Kurds and is one of the hopes to put the brakes on further Turkish advances, at least.
