Debate “Afghanistan Back Under the Taliban”

Prague Centre for Middle East Relations (PCMR) of CEVRO Institute held a debate entitled “Afghanistan once more under Taliban rule.” The event took place on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 17:00 at the atrium of the CEVRO Institute (Jungmannova 17, Prague 1). Our distinguished guests were:
- Lenka Klicperova, journalist and Researcher at Prague Center for Middle East Relations (PCMR).
- Fawad Nadri, President of the Czech-Afghan Joint Chamber of Commerce.
- Matyáš Zrno, former head of the civilian division of the Provincial Reconstruction Team in Logar.
Our guests discussed the causes and consequences of the current situation and future developments in Afghanistan after the collapse of the central government and the Taliban’s retaking of power.
The debate was moderated by Tomáš Kaválek, Director of PCMR.
