PCMR Expands Its Team (Again)!

Date of publication: March 7, 2026

At the beginning of March 2026, the Prague Center for Middle East Relations (PCMR) expanded by adding two new interns. Specifically, these are Abdulfattah Al-Sareb, who focuses on the geopolitical dynamics of the Arabian Peninsula, with a special emphasis on the multifaceted conflict in Yemen, and Martin Zemánek, whose main focus is the intersection of environmental challenges and political stability in the Middle East and North Africa region. The interns are involved in both preparing PCMR events and publishing policy papers on specific topics.

The PCMR strives to involve students both in the day-to-day running of the center and in closed roundtable discussions. Here, it is important to link the theoretical approaches (political science, international relations, or security) acquired in the classroom with current events in the Middle East.
